MVAMS not remembering settings
For some reason the AMS seems to forget the joystick settings for the F-4E even though I select SAVE after each one. I also make sure to select SAVE DEFAULTS at the end. Also, sometimes it starts with engines off even though I've selected READY TO FLY. I've also got blurry instruments as I've seen in other posts.

You are running the AMS as admin? As in right click on it, select properties->compatibility->Run this program as administrator?
For the blurry cockpit, set Global Max Texture size in the display settings to max.

I'm signed on as administrator, I right clicked and selected Run this program as administrator and still nothing. Actually after a bunch of tries it remembered one setting. Every time i close it and reopen the joystick setting is gone. I click the joystick button, AMS recognises it but as soon as I close it it seems to disappear. Not all of them but the particular ones I'm trying to set.

You are clicking the Save button in the Assignment window, as well as the Save Defaults in the bottom right corner?

If you go to the AMS directory\Configurations\F4E folder, do any of the mlvz file time stamps change when you click the save button?

Can you tell me where I would find the AMS directory?

Re: MVAMS not remembering settings
I've got a HOTAS Warthog joystick. The specific functions I'm having trouble with are radar lock, radar range increase (range decrease seems to stay put) and radar elevation Axis. There may be others but those are the ones I've been trying to set.

Do any of the non weapon functions work like the engine master switches or the idle/cutoff controls.

Re: MVAMS not remembering settings
Yes those do work. As well as trim, chaff, flares etc. I set a keyboard assignment to Radar Lock and now the joystick assignment for it works too. Do I need to install Phantom, Tacpack upgrade and Tackpack software in any particular order?

No....Sounds like a bug. Will investigate a little deeper as soon as I can.

You don't by any chance have the F-100 or the F-86F in your AMS as well do you?
And apologies but I misread your question earlier. The installer update order is Phantom, then TACPACK upgrade. The TACPACK software can be installed before or after makes no difference.

The only Milviz products I have are the F4E, J and S. Should I uninstall the F4, Tacpack add on and reinstall?
