I still don't have a working F-4E in P3D V3.4
OK, this is really frustrating.
Obviously it is not purely a problem with the F-4s, but it is so frustrating to have these aircraft break and be un-flyable every time there is a minor update to P3D. What makes it even more frustrating is the hoops I have to jump through to get an update even when it becomes available. Even after jumping through the hoops, I now have the latest update for the F-4J/S, but not one for the F-4E, despite buying both products from PC Aviator. I had to contact Dean at PC Aviator twice to get the updated files put on the server. The F-4J/S was good, the F-4E file on the server is only 189MB and has a CRC error when unzipping, so it is obviously broken. This is not just the file I downloaded, but the file on the server. Now, a week after my third support contact with PC Aviator, the broken file remains on the server and I have received no reply.
Now, I have had support directly from Kat twice (I think) before, and she has been kind enough to send me the updated files in the past after a direct request. Am I the only person who purchased from PC Aviator? Honestly, every time there is an update, it feels like it, because nothing is done about the update I need for the aircraft to function before I directly request it. Even then it takes a while.
So I am requesting, is there some way I, and other 3rd party purchasers if there are any
, can have access to updates as they become available?
Cheers,

It would also help if there was a place to check what the latest version of any Milviz products is, so one can at least ask the seller to make it available.

Yes Olaf, it would be.
I even asked for this information directly, and received no reply.

Now, regarding the updates, I did receive a reply from PC Aviator, and the file was updated, the day after I posted this thread. Coincidence?
Of course I downloaded and have now installed those versions of the Phantom.....and then LM decided to break them again
.
So how many months will it be before I have access to the new latest versions? Will I have them before LM decides to "FIX" P3D again?
So back on the roundabout I jump. Obviously this time I am not even going to bother upgrading P3D, as there is not much to gain from the Hot"FIX", and all it will achieve will be to break several of my aircraft.
Cheers,

Re: I still don't have a working F-4E in P3D V3.4
So back to square 1 again. This time I have taken the option to not install the latest P3D hotfix (V3.4.14) as it will break the Phantoms again, and being a third party customer of this aircraft it seems I am not entitled to timely updates.
I guess I will wait until next July when PC Aviator decide to update that product to the latest version again.
This would be fine, but now I am in the situation where I can not use the latest version of several unrelated products, because they have updates that are now only compatible with P3D V3.4.14 and are no longer supporting 3.4.9.
Honestly, this is getting ridiculous.

Scott,
The decision to buy from a third party and direct was entirely your choice. The updates are sent to ALL third party vendors at the same time as they are sent out to direct customers. What those third party vendors do is their choice. Speak to them.
