The Wpns Helper - I'm obviously missing something

OK - how do I get the Weapons Helper (Shift-2) to work.

I'm parked on the ground, engines running. I get the jet all wet up–usually MK-82SE. So now I want to set up the Wpns helper (like one would have already done in flight planning but seeing as this isn't a "Ready Room" simulator, I'll take the time on the flight line to do this work.

The 2D helper comes up as promised. Its not green but I figured once I enter values and it gives me a solution it will turn green…

…but that's the problem. I try clicking on the arrows to enter the info…nothing happens. I've tried on the ground (where one actually does these calculations in the real world), and in flight. Nothing.

Obviously I'm missing something.

It isn't meant to be green. It is supposed to be grey. Green is from an earlier version that was used at the time the video tutorial was made.

You also don't click. You scroll with the mouse wheel.

BTW, I liked the green better
