AIM-7E IN RANGE Light Stays ON

Post by dggoofy » Sun Sep 18, 2016 2:56 pm

Hi,

Using now for a while the great F-4E with tacpack, I've got great pleasure with bombing mission, which works great. But, with missiles, I'm getting odd issue...

Same configuration... 4 sparrows, 4 sidewinders, no other external tanks or else. Just A/A missiles.

All switches are on and set correctly (missiles are warmed up), all is normal. BUT...

Sometimes, I can just shot 1 Sparrow... the 3 others won't go. Other time I shot 3 sparrow, but impossible to shot the last one. All settings are the same! Nothing changed between 2 shots attemps... and subsequently IN RANGE light won't light OFF even if I have no missile any more or any target locked.

Any idea ?

Thanks

Daniel

Here we are... Just made 2 flights. One without problem. [IN RANGE] light ON... shot... target hit! Light OFF. And the second... no!

I approached the target. [IN RANGE] light was ON... I tried to fire. No shot. So I changed for a Sidewinder... bzzz.. Shot... Target hit but light stays ON :

Then again, Lock a target, change to Sparrow, and... IN RANGE light turn off... then ON when in range. Shot. Target hit, but this time [SHOT] light stays ON :
