Sidewinder sound with TP
Hi,
I load F-4E and load following weapons : 4 Sparrows, 2 x 2 Sidewinders, 3 gun pods. As soon as the engine are started, I can hear the sidewinders' seek sound ! Probably not normal, isn't it ?
By default the A-A weapons indicator says "HEAT" and I have the left HEAT missile lighted too. correct ?
Even if I select GUN or RADAR missile, the seek sound continues. Even if I reject all HEAT and have no HEAT lighted any more... always the sound.
I was unable to find the AoA volume button... Thanks to help,
And finally, my panel 2 is grey and not green...
Cheers

Odd. I don't get the sound until wheels are up.
Yes default position of the gun missile select switch is heat and depending on how you save your payload, winders will be loaded.
The tone disappears here when guns or Radar is selected.
Yes the Bomb Release calculator is intended to be grey.

Then watch my video. I reduced engine sound so that you can clearly hear the sidewinder sound...
https://youtu.be/5KG_KAcuank
It appears as soon as airborn and does not disappear by selecting either RADAR nor GUN...
And the open question : where can I turn off this sound (AoA volume is said in TacPack tutorial)...

Will double check this side. The AoA volume knob is on the left console towards the rear in the front cockpit. Just out of curiosity, what happens if you turn the master arm on while in the gun/radar mode?

Re: Sidewinder sound with TP [SOLVED]
Yep, found a small issue here by me, when setting joystick mapping. So yes, sound disappear as soon as I select GUN or RADAR. Then it's ok. I can deal with it!
Thanks
