P3D v4 with FSX and MVAMs

my system is set up with FSX and tackpac along with p3d v4 on the same drive.
when I installed the F4E and F4J/S into FSX it put the three planes into the MVAMs. all good
I set up things like NWS.. loaded FSX and Tackpac to fly the F4E all good
I installed the F4E intp P3D. booted up P3d to fly the F4E and NWS was not functional. I closed p3d and opened MVAMs the new install to p3d reset everything in the F4E... logical but it also reset the settings on the F4J/S which I have not installed into p3d. weird
my main question is does the one MVAMs control the settings for the F4E (and other planes) for both flight simulators (if installed in p3d and fsx)? through one app (even though there is tackpac in fsx and no tackpac in p3d) i see all my planes that have MVAMs in the one app even though one plane is only in p3d and another is only in FSX while the F4E is in both
