You have to disable your av before downloading and installing, run the sim as an admin and make sure that you're not running the Estonia migration tool

If you have used the estonia migration tool... you will need to check and see if it's disabled. If you don't even know what it is... then worry not.

Have you run the sim as an administrator?

He is using FSX so migration tool is not relevant. Might be he wasn't running as admin but now as long as it is working, all good.
