I suggest that you try right clicking on the icon and seeing if there's a properties box...

What's your OS?

And good luck on the interview...
I can right click on the Sim icon and I dont get a compatibility menu. I do with the Icon for Steam itself. And my operating system is Windows 10.

Do a search for the file FSX.exe. When you find it, right click on it and choose run as admin. There should be a check box. Check it off.

Very odd. I'm surprised you ran it in Kiosk mode. Are you running the TACPACK version of the F-4E?

Ok these are TACPACK files but it should still work without TACPACK (the key core files that enable TACPACK integration are not included). Unzip these into your F-4E's sound folder: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1n0i7an4bbwcz ... r.zip?dl=0

Then, unzip this into your gauges folder: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kkxtpryv1tej6 ... 6.zip?dl=0

Still will not work. I just want to say this after flying the F-100 I was blown away with how good it is. After purchasing the Super Sabre I had to have the Phantom. But can I just say this I really do want this to work because there is no better Phantom out there. But I have seen other posts about it crashing in FSX and P3D I have not doubt in my mind that it is a fantastic product. But I really do think it needs to be revisited considering that I am not the only one having this problem. Please dont take offence to this as I said I really want this work.

You are the only one with this issue. there's no one else...

Everyone else's issue(s) have been solved.

Sorry but... it's still almost certainly due to a permissions. Please show me the pic of the FSX.exe file with the administrator rights checkbox filled.

Thanks.

That's what I thought...

here's what you need to do:

1) find the FSX.exe file.

2) right click on it and choose properties.

3) The dialog should pop up. Choose the COMPATIBILITY panel.

4) then, at the bottom, choose RUN PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR.

that should do it.

Please advise.

What KC is referring to is your FSX.exe properties in the screenshots. The Run this program as admin box is unchecked. It should be ok though if it is checked for your actual Steam app if you are running it through the steam client.
