Yeah, I really appreciate it as irl 80% of my flying was a night.
The Talon's lights don't work either but iirc thats not W10 compatible.

The Talon uses the exact same tech so it probably works now

Just restarted P3D and the same issue. Any idea where this FSX.EXE is coming from? Is this normal? Do I have to kill it every time or is this just how it is having to manually end it??

EDIT********** For anyone reading this with this issue. Go to the Estonia folder and find FSX.EXE
I simply made a folder, named it PLACE BACK TO RUN or something simular and moved that file into that folder. If/when I go to use the tool, simply take it out and place back in the main directory. Prelim flights and restarts appear to solve this issue. Thanks to all. Now where is my SR-71??

Spoke to soon.
Same issue, tracked the FSX.EXE and it located in that named folder. Makes no sense. Had to manually kill it.
Messed with the Talon's inop lights and despite a massive headache, they refuse to come on. Really frustrating as are the helicopters I must disable Active sky to start. Thanks to all. If a solution for this is found let me know please. If I trip apon one I will post it. Thanks to all again.

I want to try one last thing I did with the F4.
When you get the chance send me a download link to the F-5 latest so I can dl it making sure AV is OFF. Jim in SC.

It's loading because you have the dll set to run when you run p3d.

You have to remove it EVERY time unless you remove it from dll.xml.

I just deleted the migration tool. In the p3d main dir I see all the old version of fs so I assume the fsx.exe is supposed to be there. Not sure what is meant by "you have the dll set to run when p3d." What is activating it?

I am contemplating resintalling the F5 but pretty sure its a waste of time seeing I am using the same installer I always had. 3.151218
Is that the latest ? If not plz email it to me.

you can have the latest by checking your emails.

the estonia migration tool is activated by having it in the dll.xml list. deleting the software will likely not help.

I really REALLY want you to go through the list of possible things again becuase it is SURELY one of those things...

Checked emails at 11.10 east and no emails from you. Check back later.
Yeah the F5 is truly one of the best military planes EVER for FSX.
iIIRC none of the Milviz lights work in the helis, the vintage fighter, the F5 and got the F4 sorted. Not sure whats going on but I need to step back before I start deleting.

To clarify: by emails, we mean the order confirmation emails that you are sent once you purchase or when the product is updated. If you hang on to them you can continue to use the download link to re-install, or whatever. Just to be on the safe side, we have sent you new confirmation emails, with installer links. Keep them safe and you will always have access to your purchases. If you need us to re-send them, just drop us a line.

I had over $2500 in addons for FSX and after some CTDs just walked away for 2+ yrs. Been simming since I bought a 3 grand Tandy computer running at 20 mhz to fly Microsoft F19 stealth fighter.
Just before the new year I jump head first back in with a uber rig and still have not in ironed out. I really, really had to have my A2A P51 but had I know the issues would have passed on anything not P3DV3 compatable.
I always save ALL my downloads but who can keeep up with whether its the latest? Some devs use updates while some are entirely stand alone.
At any rate Thanks again for the long day. I am currently trying to find the NWS switch on the F4. Just save it as a button on my Warthog. Giver it a go later.

The FSX.exe is part of the Estonia migration tool. You can enable the manual load entry for it in the dll.xml so that P3D will ask you if you want to load it at startup. That way you can just say no when you want to fly the F-4E.

If the F-4E lighting starts working, so will the helicopters.

The NWS command is located in your AMS->Controls Tab->Misc Controls menu option.
