Issues with the Nav Computer
Hello,
So far I've been in a pickle with flight plans with the standard F-4E. I've followed the official Milviz INS/NAV tutorial, and scoured the forums for an idea of how to get my Nav computer to show me the right way to go. Typically, with my HSI reference on NAV COMP, I follow the heating and alignment process, and set my selected coordinates and deviation to standby prior to entering the align mode. On the front pit prior to taxi, the heading and course bug seem to be pointing to different headings. Upon moving, both bugs point in a direction completely incorrect to my flight plan, and after takeoff and regardless of the duration and direction of the flight, the heading and course bug only point in the incorrect direction(Typically 180 degrees or 90 degrees of the flight plan.) What am I doing wrong? What can I do to get the Nav computer to show me the way?
Furthermore, I am on TGT 2.

The course bug indicates ground track in the nav comp mode as I recall.
Since you are in TGT 2 mode, are you selecting the desired flightplan point from the F-4 flightplan menu?

So far, yes. Even with the auto track settings of each of the waypoints through the flight plan menu on TGT 2, both bugs seem to be stuck on a heading, typically near perfect east or west. Should I be doing select current waypoint instead?

Just to double check, both the switch and the knob for the HSI are on NAV COMP? What does the distance indicator show?

Re: Issues with the Nav Computer
The distance seems to show distances in 900 nm(which I can't change unless I set it to TACAN or the sort), and the knob on the front pit is set to NAV COMP before aligning. The switch I assume is next to the knob, placed to the ADF selection?
Update: I tried auto sequence, and it got me on my flight path after takeoff. However, upon reaching my next waypoint, it changed heading and stuck to it, again being the incorrect heading, and has seemed to get suck on a heading similar to this in every flight attempt afterwards.

What if you leave auto sequence off and only manually select waypoints?

If I leave auto sequence off and choose manual waypoints, it gets somewhat close to my flightplan. I have a suspicion that it might be the way I'm putting in the coordinates to align. Do you know what airport the INS/NAV tutorial video was made at, so I can try to closely replicate the coordinates?

Judging by the coordinates given in the video, KLSV.
