Controlling F-4E/J/S with keyboard

Post by alphacentauri » Fri Jan 26, 2018 6:30 am

Hi all,

Is this possible? I can fly the F-4 with joystick, but I don't have a lot of room and often do my simming with keyboard. When I try to manipulate the flying controls, the control surfaces stutter but are forcing back to neutral position. It seems like the model is receiving the command from the keyboard but overriding the command.

I did read somewhere that the F-4 was specifically designed for use with joystick, but I am also assuming it is possible to fly with keyboard? Any idea on how I can do this?

Thanks in advance, sorry for what may be a stupid question

I'm afraid not. Due to the way the flight control system works, joystick is mandatory.
