F4 J/S CRASHING P3DV4

Hi Guys.

Just re-downloaded the F4 J/S today, 8 Dec from SendOwl into P3DV4 with Windows firewall off and AV off.
It shows OK in the preview but crashes the sim every-time I load it.

Browsed the forum but couldn't see anything about this, only the F4E.

Tested the sim with the native Raptor and others and all is fine. Any ideas for a fix ?

It's almost certainly one of three things:

1) av might be off when you downloaded, but it was on when you installed... or your av is still picking it up after you've installed... and so...it won't work. Make sure that you do all three... download, install and keep the sim directory out of your av scan.
2) your sim is not up to date
3) you do not have all of the required libraries. (this is easily sourced in here).

Please verify that these are done.

Thanks Colin. I purchased P3DV4 on Sept 28 and assumed it was the latest version, it wasn't ! it was V4.0. Deleted everything, turned off Windows Firewall and AV and started fresh with V4.1.7.22841.
Used the ZIP option, all good with the sim. Re-installed the F4 S/J, all working perfectly now, it looks stunning on a Dell 32" 4K monitor ! Great customer support from you and Osh as usual, much
appreciated.
