I just noticed your P3D is an older version. I tested this on the newer v4.0.28.21686 version. Please try updating your P3D client.

Ok, I did that and updated to Prepar3D_v4_Academic_4.0.28.21686. But it is still crashing the program. I will try a reinstall of the plane.

Open MVAMS and see if you are asked to update the F4

He has done that already. Ok next step, please go to your P3D directory and look for the sim1.dll. Right click on it, select properties->Details and post the version number.

Your P3D didn't update properly. The sim1.dll version number should be 4.0.28.21686 not 4.0.23.21468. Did you follow LM's directions to uninstall the client (not the content or scenery) before installing the update?

I did, but I recall having some odd problems and having to restart the install. Maybe I need to do that again. I will try it.

That was it! Thank You! I thought I did the update correctly. I must not have and do remember a message so, I started the install over. Obviously, I had to have done something wrong.
