False Positives When Trying to Install F4E
Despite turning off anti virus I seem to be getting 3 error tags when trying to install into P3Dv3. It doesn't happen with FSXSE. Are these the false positives that others have spoken of, and am I right just to click ignore?
I should add that I only reinstalled because the lights weren't coming on in my cockpit - whether this has anything to do with the matter or not I don't know. Thank for any advice.

Yes they are false positives. What AV are you using and what are the error tags showing?

Thanks for the swift reply Jonathon. They are showing unable to install a gauges file, sound and texture in three error messages. I've not noticed anything with regard to either gauges or textures that it actually failed to install after I had pressed 'ignore' (I compared the install into P3Dv3 with that into FSXSE). However, It did seem to me that some sound files were missing. I've transferred them across manually. Should I have clicked 'ignore' then?
Thanks

Sorry, should have mentioned that AV was windows 10 Defender. This was actually turned off during the latest attempts at reinstall.

Please ignore me, all is now well. I just had to do a proper uninstall and make sure all the appropriate files were deleted, before trying to reinstall.
Thanks for the help
