How to Fuel dump?

Post by Raclim » Mon Oct 10, 2016 5:02 pm

Hello Guys,

I have been trying to dump some fuel from the E-model phantom, but it looks like i don't get it.

What I understand from the flight manual is that in order to dump fuel i have to set the "Hex-head" dump switch to "Dump" and that the tank depressurization switch CAN'T be in the "All int" position.

Having both swithes in set correctly still doesn't empty my tanks.

Can someone please clarify/explain to me what i am doing wrong?

Best regards,
Randy

It does. The rate depends on the engine RPM though. And it is rather slow.

I didn't knew that the phantom had such a slow dumping rate.

Thank you for clearing it up!
