MV F-4E Phantom II Paint Kit

Hi,

The MV F-4E Phantom II paint kit is now available. Note that this will ONLY work on the newer versions of Photoshop. It's also fairly complex. It does contain both a E livery set as well as a J livery set.

I see that the "J NOSE" layered texture sheet (F-4E_12_EXT.) is not included in the just released paint kit. Will that be coming or should we plan on making our own?

You just save out the one with the nose as 12 and that does it

Not quite sure what you mean.

However, Kat just posted on the SOH forums that an updated paint kit would be released. If so, and if part of the revised paint kit includes the "J" nose textures, would it be possible to also have the landing light and signal lights on the forward nose gear door, and the round flush antenna in the center of the long aft nose landing gear door mapped. It appears these objects have been modeled but they have not been mapped for textures.

We will look at this but it isn't a priority until the S/J comes out.

The revised paint kit has been posted. Note that this is for the S/J so KEEP the other one.

Just for the sake of accurate information, if it has any texture at all, it has been "mapped." We just haven't told you where everything is located... ;)

BRAVO...

And just for the sake of clarification...

the mapping for these objects is such a well kept secret that your own texture artists do not know where they are mapped! ;) ;)
