TACAN navigation
I'm not sure if I'm doing ti correctly, but I have few problem with VOR navigation.
1. Outbound DME leg on HSI (departing VOR on radial) shows incorrect distance . Instead of incrementing from 0 or 1 it shows 20+ miles (right after passing VOR)
2. HSI DME slant range distance doesn't seem right. I tried a leg between LAX and MZB VORs and distance showed around 13 miles. This is way off from actual distance whether it sm or nm.

Re: TACAN navigation
OK I did mess around with TACAN navigation. Tried different VORs, and was able to track successfully, but I was unable to get any DME reading. I didn't have any flight plan pre-loaded.
So I'm thinking right now that readings I got before using TACAN navigation were due to loaded flight plan (with selected waypoints via F-4 menu and checked auto-sequencing option)
I will investigate more.

If you send me a screenshot of your main panel and TACAN panel, I am pretty sure I will be able to tell you instantly what is wrong.
