Re: MD530F
I just wanted to say how happy I am that you guys are doing the 530! It is my all time favourite heli and so far there are none in FS that really do it justice. I agree with Leorstef about the high skids. will there be an option to switch out the low skids for the high skids? If not, no biggie as I don't really mind either way! One more question, will you guys be modelling the twist grip throttle? I have a home made collective that has a twist grip which I can assign as an axis and as far as I know only the Dodosim 206 has an axis for the throttle.

Re: MD530F
This looks like it could be a good one, between this, the King Air 350 and the Bell 407 I am not going to have anymore time for real life.
How is the Bell 407 coming along?

Looking sharp! I signed up for the forums just to follow this topic and watch the progress!
If you guys need an MD530F POH or maintenance manual let me know. I have the PDF's from the MD website. I know it's waaay in the future, but it would be OUTSTANDING and make the model that much more "real" to add the "depth" to the 3d gauges like the attached photo
How does one go about getting on the beta team?

Re: MD530F
Can we have a hook modelled on this one please, and is it possible to leave the right set of controls out?
Looks really good though and looking forward to it right after the Kingair!

Re: MD530F
Hello Colin,
Thank you for the MD530F VC screenshots! Really nice job, on par with the Bell 407.
I found two things on them that should be corrected:
- The part I circled is too thick, should be thinner
- The wall near the fire extinguisher is thick as well, and I also see a problem there. See the attached image.
Thank you for your work!
When texturing the inside, I recommend adding additional drape since this is a VIP helicopter. See the attached image.

Re: MD530F
Just out of curiosity, have you guys decided how you are going to handle the start-up; specifically the way sounds are handled? I think it would be worthwhile looking at how Dodosim have handled it with their 206. Basically, each stage of the start-up has its own sound file (a file for the ignition, combustion, the starter motor etc.) which allows for a lot more flexibility. For example, it allows the pilot to motor the starter on hot days to get the TOT down before lighting the engine to avoid a hot start; or closing the throttle if the temps go above the red line etc. This bypasses the quirky behavior you can experience with a single sound file in FSX.
I hope this makes sense, please tell me if I need to be more clear! Can't wait for this bird to be released!
