Cannot Load 407 in FSX Acceleration
Good afternoon
Purchased the 407 and installed. When I tried to load it for the first time it did not appear in the preview screen and FSX shutdown without any input from me quicker than it ever has before. So I uninstalled and had a think.
I had only paused my AV (Kaspersky) during the install so decided to start again. Shut down AV completely and downloaded the installer, unzipped and ran the install process as administrator to uninstall and then reinstalled the 407. Went through the assignments as per instructions and then loaded FSX and tried to load the 407 with same result as before. The AV was off throughout this process. I always start FSX with the default Trike. My MV Cessna 310 and DH Beaver run perfectly.
I am obviously doing something wrong, any ideas please,
Regards
Terry

Thanks
@Huey can you check the Event Viewer (start menu->search->Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application) right after a shutdown and see if there are any errors reported involving FSX or the 407?

Re: Cannot Load 407 in FSX Acceleration
You made sure to run your FSX as admin? Right click on it, select properties->Compatibility and check Run this program as administrator.
