Yeah, I know, Bill. Gotta be so darn frustrating.
Some of us do read though--we really do!
cheers,
steve

Hello,
glad to see the set#1 release but unfortunately for me i'm not interested in any liveries included, so my 732 is grounded in the hangar
Cheers.

Any chance of some EU liveries such as British Airways or Ryanair?

How about a set of actual current operators?

You are correct Gary, the Multimark arrow is suppose to be the same red as the band around the top of the fuselage. The fuselage is normally polished metal, but was also matt depending on the tarnish. The underside of the fuselage should the be a gull grey, the same grey that is on the engines. The current colour has too much of a blue tinge to it.ggi wrote:I missed the aircraft.cfg add-ons in the texture folder too - I'd added a couple manually before I read the post above. I do have a query on the CP Air - I thought the arrow on the tail should be coloured red? Also my CP Air fuselage underside appears light blue where I assume it should be silver/chrome? Can someone have a check of it please?
Thank you,
Gary
I've also noticed all the repaints are missing the stabulator trim slot that is just forward of the stabulator pivot point. It looks very strange to have it missing.
Here's a screenshot of the livery that a gentleman created and it is very accurate in colour. (Note: this is not the Milvis aircraft and is not intended to promote other vendors. It is for example purposes only. The Milvis version in my belief has superior FDE, FMS, VC night lighting, and is supported in P3D.)
Cheers,
Thad

Re: MV 737-200c Livery Pack (set 1)
Couple of other points regarding the CP Air repaint, the tail number is also missing at the top of the tail and the Canadian flag is also absent after the word "Canada" before the registration. The nose gear doors were painted grey to match the belly, they never split the colour on the panel between metal and grey as it currently is. If the same texture that is currently used on the engine exhaust nacelle was used on the fuselage it might look more better than the current grey used to simulate silver, although I don't know how well it would scale up.
I'm not trying to be a nit-pick but these missing things make the textures look very vanilla. I believe if you look between the example I have presented that a individual did for free, and the current offering for remuneration, I would expect just the same for something which by the way, I would be very willingly to pay for.
Cheers,
Thad

Re: MV 737-200c Livery Pack (set 1)
Colin at first said no changes, but he is now going to have another look. Fingers crossed there can be an update, I know things have been difficult with the FMC and obviously SP1 is the priority. Hopefully an SP1 for livery pack #1 will follow in due course, as this livery pack is the first Milviz product I am disappointed with.
Unfortunately it's not just the CP Air, they've used wing textures from FedEx for all the liveries, there are a lot of other improvements needed for the pack to have the quality finish Milviz are famous for. Hopefully nothing too serious to mend. I agree with High Iron the Milviz product has the best feel to the 737s available!!

We're not going to change the wings paint.
We will, however, be redoing the "shine".
We will also be lowering the price and refunding the 4 (yes FOUR) who paid already.

Re: MV 737-200c Livery Pack (set 1)
The livery pack has, temporarily, been removed from sale.
We will be looking at the materials of these as they are not presently very nice. I had assumed (made an ass out of me and not you), incorrectly that they would automatically work... not so much.
We will, therefore, spend a bit more time getting it right on that side of things.
We will not be adjusting the paint themselves just the way they feel... (chrome, matte.... somewhere in between)

No Sir, not my nature but i think, like many other fellows, that not having current Cargo Ops for this nice bird is a Shame

thanks in advance.

Don't want to sound like i'm complaining, but they are not the same level as release liveries, maybe that's the cause. They look like plastic and have a "too clean" feel in them.
