MV 737-200: P3D4 Request
Hi,
Would it be possible to request that when the 737-200 eventually makes an appearance under the skies of P3D4, that the space where the FMC once was can be left as a gauge placeholder such that user can if they wish add their own third party FMC's?
It's not that I am incapable of steam gauge navigation, in fact it's how I originally learnt, but it would increase the flexibility of this aircraft if so.
One last question, and that is will TCAS remain active and the WXR screen remain in place?
Thanks,
Fabio

Re: MV 737-200: P3D4 Request
Fabio, that is a reasonable request and one I am happy to say I can easily do. However, as the TCAS and the WX Radar occupy the same space on the pedestal, it can only one or the other. If the user selects the WX Radar option, then the TCAS will not be present.

Hi,
Very grateful, thank you.
Yes, I remember now that the WXR and TCAS shared the same panel space.
I used to cheekily divide the available space such that half went to TCAS and half to a third party WXR. Yes, the aspect ratio was odd, but acceptable (nearly!).
I am so revved up waiting for my 737 to come back, I even bought a DC-8 to make up for it (it helped, but isn’t the same).
Thanks,
Fabio
