No cockpit lighting P3D v3.4

Post by brkr » Mon Apr 24, 2017 6:10 pm

I've been unable to get the cockpit night lighting to work with the latest version of P3D and Win 10 creators update. I've went through all of the "how to fix most problems" tips and still no luck and I'm not using EMT either. Any assistance appreciated. Thanks!

Is there an FSX.exe in your processes list in the task manager? How about a Milviz_Lighting_Service.exe?

Hi Jonathan,

no fsx.exe or milviz_lighting_service.exe running in task manager.

Right click on your P3D, select properties->Compatibility and verify Run this program as administrator is checked.

I have P3D set to run as admin. I'm assuming something is causing the MV_NL.exe in the texture folder not to start.

Only AV I am running is windows defender and I have P3d folder set to exclude.

Also, this is a new P3D 3.4 installation.

Ok the only suggestion I have is to try and roll back the Win10 Creators Update. It seems it is wreaking havoc all over the show and not only with our products.
