Hi guys,

good job on the Mu-2. I fly it regulary on X-Plane, its my favorite aircraft there. Good performance (its fast!! :-D )
and a nice cockpit with all the gadgets in it - perfect for IFR flying.
Talking about the cockpit... would it be possible to integrate a normal Bendix/King radiostack instead of
the Garmin screens (maybe like the freeradio in the C310)? The Garmin screens are pretty bad when it comes to useability.
Setting Nav1 and Nav2 is only possible after clicking everywhere - I cant get the grips on it and I wonder what Garmin
thought when they developed it? For me it takes 2 or 3 times more time to get the frequencies right. :?

Thanks,

Olli

+1 on Olli's statement about free radio version.... unless you were going to make a fully functional GNS530 with WAAS capability. Then, you would be cooking with fire. But I know RXP already did that, although all support has been abandoned and the nav database is old. Could be a cool project for MilViz to take up.

We will allow for free radio and RXP integration in this one.

We are not presently interested in doing a new GPS/GNS though...

I think those are the newer panel mount GPS systems...very nice touch screen stuff.

It sure is. Nice shape. And small, yet powerful engines:
