Selecting cold dark and others visuals

When I select cold/dark and show chocks/pitot tubes pilots/pax (all visuals) they do not show.
I am using P3DV4.5
BTW I could not map the wing lockers or side door to open so I used a freeware program called doorcontrol.zip
and that works for me.
