Disregard, I found one from my wife's collection, but: those valves are not visible. It's a solid structure:

I enjoy taking screenshots when making progress on any project. It's a creative outlet and keeps me out of trouble! I zoomed in as far as I could on the real image, and I'm pretty sure those fuel lids are red.

That rudder linkage is bit of a problem area. After revisiting it today, I decided to paint that bracket back white for the time being. I was spending a lot of time trying to figure it out, and I don't like getting hung up on little things. If I did that, I would never make any progress!

Also, I realized I forgot the grey line underneath the blue! I fixed that, so now I'm going to move onto the next section.

Thank you for posting that image!

Now that I've seen a closer image of the real aircraft, those bottom grey lines are actually more of a brown

I took a sample color and color matched the grey. Here are images of both sides of the tail in direct sunlight.

Wow, great!
I have just found another picture. I am not sure if it shows those lids in question. If so than they appear to be dark grey.

I'll also be including a wheeled version in the download when it's finished :D

Here's an idea of what it will look like.

She's almost ready. I've just gotta add the black paint to the area under the windshield and the registration numbers to the tail :D

Here is the link for the download 8-)

Please read the README file for installation instructions.

*I apologize for the error in the Installation instructions (floatplane was labeled as landplane :P). I've uploaded the new one, so it should work now!

Jack, thank you so much, absolutly marvelous!!! The plane looks fantastic!!

Comparing your work with the real plane it is just perfect. I only found one minor difference when zoomig in as on the real plane there seems to be a another small brown stripe on the rudder tip below the blue area (see below). But that is absoutly nothing to take care of.

But there seems to be an technical issue as I get a couple of error messages each time I load the plane (1 with wheeled and 18 with the float version). It says "RealLight Initialization Error: An error occurred while loading a texture. HRESULT: file not found.".
It works after closing the error message boxes though.

I didn't notice the brown stripe at the top of the rudder  . I'll fix that soon!

The developers instructed to navigate to each of your Turbo Otter Milviz/RealLight/texture folders, and there should be several folders such as Cabin, Gauges, Left, and Right.

Inside those folders, there are textures that have numbers for the names. Any texture that has a letter instead of a number, or have a letter with a number, delete it.

For example if the texture is named 1, then it is ok. If it is named 1B, it should be deleted.

For example, in the image below, I've selected a few files that should be deleted. It's recommended you do that for all of those Turbo Otters, so that you no longer receive those errors when the aircraft is loaded.

Yeah, I have found the specific thread.
A clean re-install with a re-downloaded installer did not help. Instead I ran into more probs. I am pretty much disappointed MilViz hasn't fixed tehis problem since. I will check your workaround shortly instead.
