The prop is not mapped to propeller axis. I'm using Worthog with FSUIPC and also tried it with P3Dv4 Control setup. Doesn't work for me and I have to use the mouse to change the prop setting. Anyone confirm?
Could we also get the landing lights and strobes mapped to the default switches?

+1 I've only installed this into V4, I'll leave the V3 Beaver untouched..Hangar24 wrote:The prop is not mapped to propeller axis. I'm using Worthog with FSUIPC and also tried it with P3Dv4 Control setup. Doesn't work for me and I have to use the mouse to change the prop setting. Anyone confirm?

Should it be changing this dil.xml file?

Re: SP2 and V4 compat. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Hi all
Thanks for the help getting the DLL.xmi issue I was having sorted
How I managed to solve the problem:
1/ There was no such file in the AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4
2/ There was one in the ProgramData/LocheedMartin/Prepar3dv4 folder
3/ I took the punt and added the information below as suggest by Tom to the file in the ProgramData/LocheedMartin/Prepar3dv4 folder.
Now all gauges work correctly.
Perhaps the XMLTool64Installer thingy is pointing to the wrong folder?
The only issue I seem to have now is the propeller speed is not correctly linked to the axes on my CH controller.
However it works ok by mouse dragging. This has been previously reported and hopeful a fix will come in due time
Thanks again for your help
Bob

Re: SP2 and V4 compat. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Well I bought the Beaver to take advantage of the sale. But I never installed it as I only had Prepar3d v4 installed. So how do I get a new installer for v4.
I thought emails were to be sent out with links to the installer.
I see the store page has a v4 compatable aircraft for sale now but all I see in the forums is a beta patch.
So how to aquire the aircraft?

You can use the file provided in the download link in the first post and regard it as an installer, which it seems to be.Volkira wrote:Well I bought the Beaver to take advantage of the sale. But I never installed it as I only had Prepar3d v4 installed. So how do I get a new installer for v4.

I guess this is not the final v4 update as there appear to remain problems for some people and also other stuff was reported by krazycolin to not work (yet?).
Therefore I assume we'll get the promised mail when a release version of the v4 upgrade is available. This one here is merely a beta experiment for those who can't wait any longer to fly it in v4...

Prop control not working for me via saitek levers but does move using keyboard shortcuts.
Tried calibration in both windows and in-game.

Unfortunately, we don't use these hardware addons and therefore can't support them. If Fsupic isn't helping not much we can do though I will leave the final decision on that with Tomas and Chuck.
Outstanding bugs seem to be MP gauge not working, toes brake animations missing and floating beacon light.

How can you say that when the V3 version 'supports' these hardware addons? The prop lever doesn't work even when using the sim's controls. Are you suggesting that Milviz aircraft are only able to use the mouse and keyboard?Krazycolin wrote:Unfortunately, we don't use these hardware addons and therefore can't support them...

What I'm saying is that we make our products so that you can use the mouse (and keyboard) as well as typical joystick/throttle/rudder controls (not Warthog or other HOTAS).
All other devices are NOT necessarily supported.
FYI, the reason it doesn't work in this build is that we made it custom.
I will let Tomas and Chuck either allow for control or not.
Finally, and again, we do NOT provide support to external devices as that would mean we'd have to have them all and that is just not possible.
If you mean that the "handle" in game isn't moving, that's a bug... Please be specific.

As well, all of the F1, Mindstar and WX units will NOT work because their respective owners haven't updated their software to work yet.
When they do, all of them should work properly.

Loved the sound of the engine when I first started her up.
I have to get used to trimming her as she was a little touchy and floaty.
There is no official checklist built in right except for being able to print the one out of the pdf?
