I do not know if I maybe have non-standard light effects active, but the white tail light is just a big white ball on my copy..

Is there any way to reduce it a bit?

Currently the white nav lights (there are 2) are the default FSX/P3D .fx file. I am currently replacing them with custom (smaller) lights for the next Service Release.
