Color of the spinner changes

Post by FSS2MV » Mon Oct 12, 2015 9:59 pm

This item is related to »JK_68_Old Rusty«:
As long as any propeller is standing its spinner is red. This corresponds to the thumbnail.
As soon as a propeller starts turning the color of its spinner turns to green.

Can this be fixed by overwriting one file with some other?

Best regards
Andreas

Ha.. Very interesting.

After seeing your post, I checked out the texture folder for Old Rusty. As compared to the other texture folders, it appears to be missing a texture file called p38_spin_ext.dds.

Other texture folders have this file, with various spinner colors including red. I copied one from another texture folder ( texture.P38_ext_livery_11 ) over to the Old Rusty folder and that I no longer have the green spinner. There is no overwriting since the file was missing in the first place. :geek:

I've flown nearly all the variant textures, but always from the cockpit so I never noticed the issue until you mentioned it.

Thanks
