First Long IFR flight went well

Post by sharpless281 » Wed Feb 24, 2021 5:36 am

From a cold dark start and a IFR flight plan from Palm Springs to Tucson. I used the AP panel on the plane but I have everything else (mostly) working on my hardware. I have Honey Comb Alpha Yoke, Saitek panels and back Saitek instrument displays. I used both FSUIPC (for axis control) and SPADNext for everything else (SPAD saves profiles unique to each aircraft) My plan is to build a King Air, using this 350i. This aircraft reacts very well that I flew in the approach without auto pilot and stayed on the glide slope. Been sim flying for a very long time (Microsoft FS 3 days) I am a happy camper.

There are a couple of guys who have posed in the KA 350i general product area of their sim pit builds, you might pick their brain or get some ideas. The one is very advanced.
