King Air 350i Manuals.

Post by Haseen » Tue Dec 24, 2019 6:47 am

Dear:

1. I purchased KA350i last night. I can't see specific KA350i support forum. Only I can see and access support forums where I can see my previous 737-200 and 310 redux, but not King Air 350i at the top.

2. Where can I find the manuals for avionics Proline 21 displays, FMC 3000 etc.?

Regards,

Haseen Ahmad.

Hi,
Just bought the 'King' a couple of days ago, I have the 'KA350i_User_Guide_P3D.pdf' no worries and I have downloaded the 'extra' files at the bottom of the Product Page (user guide, paint kit and cruise charts), thank you. :)

What I was hoping to see was some form of manual concerning the FMS (FMS - 3000 I think) and its use as I think it is causing me some issues, probably due to the fact that I am almost certainly not setting it up correctly (?), is there a manual for this unit/system somewhere?

Many thanks,

Steve F.

I just bought the KA350i and am in need of manuals for the FMS 3000 and PL21 as well. I don't seem to find a real-world version online. The MilViz User Guide was excellent for getting the aircraft up and running but I'm still sitting on the ramp, engines idling with nowhere to go. Love what I see so far with the in-depth systems.

I have to second Snuffy's comments. I found several you tube videos that were very helpful in programing flight plans into the auto pilot. The plane does an excellent job of following the flight plan including STARs, SIDs and approaches. One little trick I discovered is setting the altitude on the autopilot. The outer know will increase/decrease target altitude in 1000s; use your left and right mouse buttons to adjust altitude in 100s. The scroll wheel on the mouse acts as your "index finger" and us useful for setting standard on barometer and syncing the heading bug to current course. One final tip that is useful is to enable keyboard entry in to the FMS by clicking your mouse in the scratchpad area. I am really enjoying this bird, I have to say it was worth the wait!!

How different is the B300 vs B350i when it comes to the performance tables?

From what I've learned, the "Beechcraft Model B300" was marketed and sold as the "(Super) King Air 350", available as the normal "King Air 350" or the extended range variant "King Air 350ER".

So, the B300 is actually the KA350.

To the professionals here, please correct me if I'm wrong, the whole King Air lineup is a bit complex :)

Hi,

As far I understand B300/300C(cargo) are the first ones, then, the fuselage change give more cargo volume and on the ER more room for the fuel to have extra range...
Here you can read about: https://blog.wepushtin.com/blog/differe ... r-350icer/

But on the performance tables seems to be the same for all.
