US Air Force MC-12 Repaint
Anybody willing to take a shot at making a USAF MC-12? There is talk of the Air Force transferring them to the Army but it is a B350 used by the military as an Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) platform. I saw them flying around all the time (along with A-10s) when I was stationed at Fort Huachuca and thought they looked pretty cool. Hopefully someone on here is talented enough to make a repaint of this.

Already transferred to Army and AFSOC. You may also see some in a lighter shade of gray in base 350 and 350ER configs, but I 2nd that request.

Really? Last I heard was that the transfer hadn't taken place yet. I read that even after the transfer is complete the Air Force will still provide crews for awhile until the Army takes over completely. Either way, I would like to see a nice MC-12 repaint on my Milviz B350.Victory103 wrote:Already transferred to Army and AFSOC. Yes really, it's my day job. The unit that took over the program is currently 50/50 Army&AF crews, which is has had its challenges given the differences on how both branches operate fixed-wing aircraft.

Interesting, I'll have to follow it more closely. Are you part of a flight or maintenance crew for one? I currently work in the intelligence field for the Army and I've looked at trying to get an aircrew position in one of those but unfortunately I don't think it will match up with the rest of the stuff I want to do.Victory103 wrote:Yes really, it's my day job. Since some repaints seem to be getting done I'll give this topic a bump.

Ok point taken l3ubba, I'll make a start on that. Has livery or markings changed from the photos above ? Any detail assistance you can provide would be appreciated.l3ubba wrote:Since some repaints seem to be getting done I'll give this topic a bump.

Sorry if my post seemed mean spirited, it is not how I intended it. I wasn't trying to make a point or anything, just noticed that some repaints were being done and was hoping someone would take a look at it.CRANKPIN wrote:Ok point taken l3ubba, I'll make a start on that. Anyway. I will see if I can hunt down some more photos. Unfortunately I don't have access to these aircraft where I am now so everything I can provide you will be what I can find on the internet.

Ok found a few more pictures, hopefully they help. I tried finding some better pictures of the tail section but no luck so far.
This article has a decent picture of the nose that you might be able to use.

This video has a good close up of the aircraft taxiing by at about the 1:05 mark and a very good close up at the 3:25 mark.

Re: US Air Force MC-12 Repaint
Has anyone been successful in working this? I have been flying these for the last three years and was hoping to 'fly' my aircraft when I am not deployed ...
